I know I said that I was retired and that was that. but........ Ive been tempted......and Ive still got almost a full rig............................................... .............Can anyone recommend some really cheap speakers and a player ( thinking of trying a twin sd card setup :)

What about Class-D speakers they have a good few reviews on here, Maybe go for a Numark D2 Director or a cortex and have an SD card player as backup perhaps?

You should be able to find a pair of Mackie C300z for about £280.

so, class d it is then, really tight budget till i get some work in as mrs c really not impressed. looking at cheap cortex on ebay.
I thought I did really well, its been a good few months.
