Morning everyone.

Over the weekend I've been contacted by a friend that maybe taking over a small run down pub in the next few weeks in my area. I want to support them and help them in building up the trade in there new venture so when they asked me if it was possible for me to do quiz nights for them i was only happy to help out. Now as they don't have a large sum of money i won't be charging alot for my services but want to supply good entertainment for them.

Since Quiz Nights is a service i don't currently offer and have never done before i would appreciate any help from other members on here that i know currently offer Quiz Nights.

I am not looking at writing my own Quiz's so am looking into buying quiz's. After some research i have found the following website that seems to be the best option for me. Has anyone used this site before or have any other recommendation where i can get quiz's?

Thanks In Advance:)

They are quite a big concern when it comes to pub quizzes, however, I haven't used them to present a quiz, but have participated and found them to be a little on the difficult side for a 'pub' quiz.

They are cheap though.

After looking at the small print on the link i supplied i notice they have a minimum of £25 deposit which is no good for me as i don't know how well they will go. also i don't like the 1 answer sheet per round layout as i only want 1 answer sheet per team, per a night. So am looking for a different site.

but have participated and found them to be a little on the difficult side for a 'pub' quiz.

To be honest if anything i need the questions to be on the easier side of things. To put it nicely this will not be used in an "up market" pub.

Hiya Spud,

There is the following site which is free! It also has advice about running quiz nights as well as giving you the ability to generate your own quiz rounds.
http://www.quiz-zone.co.uk/browsequizzes.html

Another good site is here: http://www.freequizzes.co.uk/

Their picture rounds are particularly good, and are great value at just £2.50. They can be found here: http://www.freequizzes.co.uk/picturerounds.htm

You might also want to check out this site: http://www.quizmail.co.uk/free-quizzes.php

There is also this one: http://www.quizknight.co.uk/

Hope this helps.

If you need any more advice, feel free to pm or phone me.

:)

Thanks for the links rob.

Think you may have saved me quite abit of money with that first link. seems a really good website. the only thing that i can see being a problem is getting the same question twice as they seem to be picked at random. like the picture round on that first link as well. Think i will be giving them ago.

They even have decent answer sheets too which I've been looking for all day!
