New gear...Blast these DJ meet ups!

Went to SEDA last night

Now ordered a Denon X050 2U mixer and a Denon HC4500 for OTS!

Now I need to get a new case to put everything in! curses to you Denon and Ian!

I'm actually very excited...sad I know!

Now that's the S&H Booth order out the window for a while until I can sell some of my gear (see my thread in the For Sale section)...I've had to order a Ultimax deck cloth for temp measure!

DizzyDJ also ordered a Denon 4500 with me and also an American DJ messanger...so watch this space for a review of that when it's back in stock!

Where did I buy my gear? WHERE ELSE? the friendly Mike @ phase 1.....expected delivery of tomorrow....thanks Mike!

What did you think of the Funktion 1 speakers? Werent they awesome? Wasnt the bloke demoing them boring!? Trouble is they are too heavy for me and I would need to take out a mortgage to buy them. If ever I need to hire a big system though I know what I would specify.

They did sound so nice. I had a chat with David who was showing Funktion -One speakers and he said that the tops were 50kg each. He also said that just the speakers cost about £9000, then dont forget to add another £11,000 to the price to sell them in a shop. lol.

The announced that they had stock of a new light just in from America which no one else could get stock of even though they were advertising that they had it. They then said that these other people were offering it at £160 but they were selling it for £80. Why would they want to discount by 50% for such an in demand item?

Funny you should say that. They were selling the lights off cheap but I still saw more people buying the Acme Impossibled. lol

I think it's odd because I think the built in programs are rather cool to look at. From a video on youtube it looks like a person is walking. All made up of led's. :)
