Mixing Music

Hi Folks

Does anyone know of any good software that can make a small mix.

Basically I need to play one song and have a scratch sound effect kick in followed by another track which can then be burnt onto a cd?

If im making a short mix before a gig i always use soundforge, recently though i have bought Numark Cue, you can do so much with that program im considering replacing Swift elite when im out on Disco's with it!
