my uncle has just come back from spain with a hard drive with 12000 Karaoke tracks on
his brother has given it to him
he has 2 computers at home and loves to sing
the first computer is windows xp (working fine on this computer)
the second computer is vista and it wont read his hardrive or allow him to put the programme to play the karaoke on either i have seen somewhere you can change the settings in vista to allow some xp stuff to work can someone help please
i know this will probably kick up a fuss but i assure you all it is for is own use in his own house

If the hardrive had xp on it, that will be the reason why vista can't read it.

Otherwise, there should be absolutely no problem.

A work college of mine ( Not DJ )told me he purchased on of these drives that you just plug in to your TV and he said it had 12,000 tracks on it and he paid the equivalent to £25 from taiwan. I didn't believe him but now I do. I have spent thousands on my music collection and to think some people pay just a few quid.
