Are they not just the same as the ACME MiracLED's?
If so they seem to be a good effect, only they are limited with their light spread height-wise. Width wise they'll cover a large area, and linked together look great.
Have you checked out the video on them yet?
Scott.

I considerdd these when choosing my latest LED purchase, but was swayed towards the ImpossibLED due to all the rave reports on here :D .
They do look good though. A pair of them might be next on my list (not for a while though - must start earning more than I'm spending  :p )

What a man cheers..
Is there a led light similar the the imposibled that has the same amout of leds thats happens to be more square formation..Rather than circles would rather have the effect of a 70s disco floor

Sort of what you are looking for and incredibly cheap.

Quite like this effect but really don't see the point of having text scrolling across the dance floor. like you will be able to read it with people all over it!!! the text effects would look good on a wall but the effects would look best on the dance floor so you can't really win.

This is obviously to project onto a wall.
I disagree about the effects looking better on the floor. It depends how high up the effects are and the size and shape of the room.

Its the Equinox Carbon your after then! http://prolight.co.uk/item/carb01
Brighter than the ImpossibLED, and performs squared patterns, not the circular ones.

They're squarer (is that even a word  ) than the ImpossibLED :D

Now what I want is the Vertigo or the Mystic - nice!
Oh and a couple of Sparkles to possibly replace my Datamoons. Then I'll be all LED/laser with the exception of my Dynarolls on the main rig :o

I think its an ok light but to be fair the price is good. How many watts are the LED's?

Yes, they really are brighter.
The ImpossibLED has 392 led's, not sure on the size of them though, I don't think they are the same size as the 192 ultra bright 5mm LED's that the Carbon has.
Side by side the Carbon IS brighter.

The Equinox Carbon is comparable to a 250 watt fixture, the Acme ImpossibLED is close to if not a little brighter than a 150 watt fixture.

Tell you what im rather liking this light,
Would make a good lightshow if i bought all American Dj lights and linked them together, use thsi a centre piece and then use the Revo3 AKA the ImpossiLED and then maybe some LED pars ontop of the rig.
