After recent dissertations on other aspects of written English I have to say that the constant use of 'done' where 'did' is correct and, to a lesser extent, vice versa, is driving me spare!

Done for did is annoying, but not as annoying for me as mixing up their & there, which seem to be two of the most common errors on this forum.

I once did a post to explain the difference between the two, in the hope that some people would learn from it, but still it continues.

Now this I totally agree with .... This is very very annoying indeed and also although it doesn't happen in written speech my all time worst pet hate is the use of "F" in place of "TH" and vice versa....
