blown tweeter

Hi all

one of my tweeters (high end) has blown on my class d's, i've looked on their website for a replacement and they're only a couple of £, but my question is, how easy/hard would it be for a novice like myself to replace?

should i try to replace it or pay someone who knows what they're doing to fix it for me?

Should be very easy. Can you use a soldering iron?

probably, although i don't think i've used one since school

Very easy just unscrew, remove the wires and re-solder them onto the new tweeter and then just slot it back in the cab and screw it in, 20 min job max.

Usually it's a doddle. Soldering may not be involved, if it has spade terminals fitted to the wires, I think mine had. :confused: Ring Class D , they'll tell you if there's an easy way, there was on mine.;) :D
