Strange Class D !!

Newbie here with a strange one ? I am in the market for a pair of new speakers and having read the rave reviews on the Class D stuff thought I'd have a bid on some of their CD15SP on ebay. They were at £68 and as these retail at £249 I put a bid on of £179. I was outbid at £184, but then recieved a second chance offer for £179 :confused: I bought them :eek: All seems a bit weird to me although I've had a couple of emails off Class D congratulating me on my purchase ! Can these speakers really be any good for £179 ? I'm used to buying Bose,EV's etc, Their claims on their website sound pretty impressive :rolleyes:

Jammy git, I had to pay full whack for mine. :mad: They are very good cabs, very big , and a swine to lift on to tripods.

Yeah, of course.

You use top end speakers for years and suddenly realise there are cheaper cabs out there, so go and buy them...:rolleyes:

These speakers will be used on a 3rd set up so not my "frontline" cabs.
Also the realisation after 20 years, that 95% of Joe :Censored: -up public, really don't care how it sounds and spending £2k on a sound rig really only impresses yourself:(
I've used top line gear for most of my "career", Abstract VR8's, Bose etc and very very rarely got any "wow" comments :confused: That was until last November when I splashed out the huge sum of £130 :D on an Acme Impossibled and nearly every time I use it someone comes up with a "wow" comment. But never mention the 4 VR8's :( £2k versus £130 :rolleyes: Think I might like these new cheap speakers, I will give a review after the coming weekend when I will make a point of using them Thurs, Fri and Sat :eek:
