Hi guys i wondered if anyone could help, my father in law has a free CD-Rom about his village through the ages, unfortuantly it is a CD-Rom, he doesn't have a PC, so he asked if i could transfer it to DVD so he could watch it on his DVD player.

Now i have found that the CD-Rom contains folders of video, audio and pictures as well as a PDF Book, it all seems linked to a HTML file which you then access and it shows everything in a great navigational structure.

What i would like to know is can i change the file format from HTML to say AVI and if so how, will it also keep all the links etc so that if he clicks on photos it will take him to the photo section, click on video takes him to video section etc

Cheers in advance

ps there is no copyright/copyformat infrigment

I don't think it's possible without a lot of work. You couldn't use much of the existing navigation, you'd have to use DVD authoring software to re-create the menus and sub-menus, leading to the video files.
