July Gone Mad!

A few weeks ago I was a little concerned as I only had three Weddings in July, which for peak season was not good.(Despite June & Aug being fine) Since then its gone mad - In the first two weeks I'm out 8 times - and all of these are very recent! Has anyone else noticed that late bookings are becoming more prevalent?:confused:

This is what happened to me for May. Must say, though, July is a little quiet for me at the moment. Think I need to update my website and add a couple of special offers on there.

They don't seem to understand that we get booked early sometimes. In the last 20 minutes I've had 2 phone calls fo July bookings I couldn't do as I'm already booked.

Have passed them on to other DJs, but don't know if they'll be able to accomodate them either

I had a booking on sunday the 8th June, for a Wedding on the 28th of june.

I dont understand why people are leaving it so late, i can understand with a party, but a Wedding :confused:

unless, it was a spur of the moment proposal, but then you would think that the venue would be booked.

Yup.
Getting a lot fo enquiries for discos at the moment.. last minute seems to be the way to go... maybe it is a case of getting bad habits from everything else that can be last minute in our society now?

Shame though.. I am busy for all of June & July :(

I have 4 in the first week of July.. and still have the Friday free! The rest of the month is ok, with Fridays and Saturdays full - could do with a couple of Sundays though. None have booked last minute though.

August seems like that for me. 2 bookings which I am doing photography and disco but nothing else till this week - 1 booking and 4 enquiries.

Thinking about it, would you not get bored.....?

I know that sounds bad, but I'm having thoughts off whether "The only way is up" or "Duffy" may get on my nerves:confused:
