well on friday its the start of the newcastle hoppings the biggest traveling fair in europe.
each year at the end of june amusement ride owners from all over the country meet on the town moor field for 9 days of fun for us people who love rides

Blimey! Has a year gone over already?

I did a charity night at a venue in Jesmond and we passed Town Moor and the Hoppings was on then. Doesn't seem like a year ago, though!

Officially jealous.

I love everything to do with rides/fun fairs/theme parks and would love to go but sadly to far to travel:(.

But by the looks of the rides they have in the pictures all the rides have been in the UK before and have ridden many of them:).
Move It was part of FunderWorld for the last 3/4 years
Rotor, Maze of Terror was at bridgewater carnival for the last 2 years.
Big Wheel was in Cardiff for a few months last year.
Toboggun was at a fair a few miles from my house a few years back
and many others are the normal rides you would find at any fair.

Still non of these mobile rides can ever come close to the rides you can ever get at a theme park (been to oak wood, Thorpe park, brean leisure park, Adventure Island, Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach and Pleasure Hills already this year with Alton towers, Blackpool Pleasure beach, Drayton Manor and Southport still to come later in the year:cool:)

its tradition in newcastle the fair has been going for well over 100 years granted there isnt the rides that you get in a theme part but remember theme park rides are park models that means they are alot bigger than traveling rides and can hold more riders per hour because they are a fixed in the park.

hate to tell you but the park at southport closed in 2006 the ride that was the tramutizer is now the infusion at blackpool pleasure beach
