A couple of weeks ago on a visit to the dentist I took the plunge and decided to have my top teeth removed and get dentures fitted. Well the time has arrived. Tomorrow (tuesday) morning 9.15am. I suppose it's not too bad that there are only five left to pull.
I have also booked the following day off work as I'm sure I will be suffering a bit of pain. A few peopl have been telling me that I might actually be suffering for longer. And the fact that I work in a cold environment won't help either.
I suppose why I'm telling you this is to get a bit (loads:p )of moral support.
Have any of you lot been through this process at all?
The biggest thing is getting it paid for but I'm sure the end result will be worth it.

Didn't know what to expect but I was out in less than an hour. Went back about an hour ago as one of the wounds appeared to still be bleeding but it was nothing to worry about. Might not be getting the teeth today though. I was told I could pay by instalments so handed the receptionist £30. The dentist now wants another £90 and I can only just manage to give her another £50.

Yes it did thanks. A lot easier than I expected. The only thing now is that shome of the wordsh don't shound right when I try to shpeak :D
I went back to the dentist today to check that they were ok. She said it would just take time to get used to them. I think I'll leave it until early next week to give the gums a chance to start healing beore taking them out. Boy are they a tight fit!
And boy is the eating going to take some getting used to as well.
