Ok Guys,

Might sound a bit strange but I'm organaising a Sgts Mess Xmas ball and want something a bit different to start the night off and was thinking escopologist:eek:

Now i've seen a few on the telly where they're not actually very good (getting stuck in the sack etc) but are very very funny. Anyone got any contacts?

What i've got so far the Venue booked The Liverpool Marina, Cara from Merseyme doing the disco (;) ), booked the Spandau Ballet tribute band "Highly strung". I've been chatting to Victoria Armstrongs agent (Who's she I can hear you say) remember last years Britians Got Talent, well she was the one with the steel knickers and angle grinder :D Negotiatians on that one are going ok but I think she's a bit expensive for what we'll get and also not to sure what the Marina will make of it :D

Anyway like I said anyone got any good contacts?

Absolutely brilliant!

Yes I realise he's not an escapologist - just something a little different!

Thanks Peter,

just spoke to him and he sounds like just what I need.

Looking at him doing a split show 30mins of Tommy Cooper then later as the Great Frizzini where he does juggling magic etc and .........escapology while doing a card trick chained in a sack, singing to I want to break free

sent your regards to him, hope that got me a discount ;)

If you're considering a magician, I can highly recommend Alan Shaxon, who I had the pleasure of working with a couple of months ago. Not only a brilliant magician, but great patter as well, so very entertaining all round.

He was the guy who taught Tom Cruise sleight of hand for the film "Mission impossible" and you might also remember him from an episode of Mr Bean, where Mr Bean got on the stage & ruined all his tricks.

You can contact him directly through the details on this link:

Never mind your discount - hope it gets me a commission! Only joking, glad to be of assistance - that's what this forum SHOULD BE all about!:)
