Just back in from tonights wedding and what a great night it was,as it should be.Played a selection ranging from the beatles,Elvis,Barry white,Michael Jackson,Kylie,Robbie and some clubland classics.
Everyone was mixing well with different sides of the family and it was a good party atmosphere where eveyone wanted to enjoy themselves.
Last nights wedding was the total opposite,I arrived at 6pm to set up and i was only in the door for around 10 mins when i could sense there was a hostile atmosphere,some of the grooms family were shouting and swearing at the brides family,the bride in turn had to speak to her husband to tell his family to behave.They did not take to this very kindly and most of them left before i had even done the first dance.
You could immagine that no one was in the party mood after this happening so it was a difficult night for me to get them up dancing and forget what had happened.In the end i was left with about 35 guests to entertain,What a drag the night was.I hope that i dont get many more nights like this one!
