about my self & company ..

Well I'm Birmingham based dj, what I like to do in my spare time :P

Well basically, I have just started doing the mobile disco's and got all my gear
" not top spec, got it all from an old dj from ebay :P"

but it was a good price..

I'm running from my laptop and external hard drive which works really well so.
just one problem I had when testing was interference but I just put the hard drive on top of the amp case and stopped, must be a earthing problem.

I have started advertising now and got one booking for a 40th party but just handing flyers out to pub's and shop windows

I offer Disco And Karaoke with i have loads of music TOO MUCH now hard to find the right track's

so some feedback on some good track to get the dance floor rocking as I have not done one gig yet :(

Hi there and welcome,
The only thing i would say is don't put your hard drive ontop of your amp as the magnet in the amp with cause the hard drive to corrupt or fail after time.

If you are struggling with interfierence then why not use a ground loop iscolator or a external sound card.

WOW i never thort about the magnet i will stop doing that ...

i have a 5.1 channel external sound card usb and i use VurtalDJ with 2 lines out

so left deck & right decks
mixer channel 1 & 2 ..

as the hard drive case is aluminum is there no way i could earth this a other way .

i used one of them in my car made more noise then stopping noise :(

im sure it just a earth i will try conecting a wire from the top of the case to the back on the mixer
