Quick release lights?

Im looking for a way of making my lights easy to fix and remove to a giraffe stand?

I was wondering if anyone had a better idea (must be safe) than using the M6 Bolt and wingnuts?

I did comtemplate using quick release Split-Pins through bolts but was wondering if they would be strong and stable enough.

Has anyone any other ideas I could try?

They are called Prolight quick clamps.

If you are really stuck for time then why not pre-wire your giraffe stand and then all you have to do is fix the fixtures on and then plug in the wires that are hanging.

Job done and 15 minutes of wiring saved.

i use the Prolight quick clamps (http://www.total-music.com/catalogue.php?product_id=3872) as long as its the metal ones they are ok

I found the prolight quick clamps useless. They do not tighten up enough to stop the light swifeling on the bracket. within half an hour they are pointing in another direction. This is a major manufactoring fault with them. I returned them and after a bit of argie bargie got my money back

I find any type of G Clamp will be quicker then using the nut and bolts that come with the stand. They just take ages and are really fiddly!:mad:

Hi Guys, thanks for your help. I'll keep you posted as to which way I go. Not sure how G Clamps work. I think I last saw a G clamp in my woodwork lessons at school! lol :p
