Hi guys
I have been trying a free trial of Rocket dj software today ( i know its not the best software, but i am just playing at the moment).
When i have played a song that is a mp3 format, it is not able to play through
windows or itunes, but when i remove the free trial software it is back to mp3 format.
What i want to know is if i do buy the software, will the music be ok on my computer or hard drive, if i get one, and then at a later date want to use another type of vdj software.

I'm only assuming that the program changes your icons to that of the new software, that does not affect the mp3 file and it can easily charged back.

The Rocket software has changed the file associations on the music files. Just right click on one of the Mp3s in explorer, select open with, choose the music player you use (the standard is windows media player) then click "Always use the selected program for this kind of file". Now all your mp3s will play as normal how they used to.
