Who is doing what this week end?? are you busy busy busy or will you be kicking back with a couple of beers?

I will start:

Friday 11th = School disco

Saturday 12th = Fairford Airshow
(2 x slots on Concert stage) then in the car and straight to Gerrards Cross for a 40th party

Sunday 13th = Fairford Airshow
(2 x slots again but also doing the warm up for the main evening concert)

Monday 14th = 10 yr Birthday party

I have a nice easy weekend. :D :D :D

Night off tonight (for the first time in 11 nights).

Easy booking tomorrow...40th birthday party just over 10 minutes drive away 8pm-12am (or maybe 11.30pm).

Nothing on Sunday. I'm currently waiting for my friend to find me a new regular Sunday quiz night, although that probably won't happen for a couple of months.

friday - cinema with the kids

saturday - swimming with the kids then go walking somewhere nice if the weather is ok.

sunday - sleep in until about 11am then get up cook sunday dinner before an afternoon business meeting with john smith who apparently is bringing along his old speckled hen.

Just one this weekend, tomorrow night, 18th, 7-11.30 and the venue is across the road from a nice curry house...the ideal location for a post gig "Business Meeting" ;)

its a bad week for me i had a school disco on thursday but the clutch peddle on my van snaped had to phone my mate to cover the gig grrrrr 40 quid to fix and a 40th saturday night

Anyway, tonight was a Retro Night in town.
Saturday - Two weddings (my sidekick is doing the other one)
Sunday - I am playing a set of my own electronic music at the Basingstoke Live festival.

I won't go into next week. What does my head in is that I am still skint because I am paying off equipment that I bought....aaaaarrrgghh!

I got in from my party last night and was unloading the car at 9:30pm and received a call informing me that Day One at Fairford is off due to all aircraft being grounded and everywhere is water logged so it will be just the trip to Gerrards Cross today, I have to phone up ground operations at 5pm to find out if tomorrow is going ahead.

Ah well, crap happens.

DJed for a mate's graduation party last night - using venue gear - CD Mix, Wharf-Pro speakers and Warrior amps - all worked fine but the amps 'fell over' for a second near the end - discovered they had next-to-no airflow around them. Will tell the venue manager when he's back from whatever cricket match he's watching.

(Used my new laptop with RedVRM on it - quite pleased with it - but as I had no pre-built Waitlists, it was like DJing with a broken arm!)

Tonight - junior football club presentation and party - so mix of kids party then adults later.

UPDATE - Organiser just rang me to ask "are you vegetarian?" as they are having a BBQ and want to cater for everyone including me. RESULT!

Busy right up to mid August when I'm off down South West for 2 weeks.

Spending it at Holcombe moor (Nr Bury) and it'll involve the wonderful world of TA "soldiers" doing what they think they do best.

At least sunday morning they'll be getting "beasted" round the assault course :D :D

I'll be back to Chesterfield sunday night hopefully I'll get to see Emma for the first time in about a week and a half, perks of the job I suppose ;)

At least on monday i'm picking up the new car :D :D

This week is almost as busy!

Tonight - School Disco for year 6s in Birmingham, great bunch - really got into it and didn't just run about and knee slide all night (the kids I mean, not me)
Tommorow - Corporate gig, up in Birmingham again.
Saturday - Wedding in Ledbury.

Got a disco for a sailing club not to far from me. I have done there discos for a while and they keep coming back. :)

Sunday is cleaning day. Just the usuall like clean all the boxes out as well clean all the lights and tidy up all the cables.

Enjoy your weekend off Tony. Hope the weather is good for the BBQ!!! Last time we arranged a BBQ for a Saturday off it piddled down all day. Wife ended up cooking the food but still had the friends over.

Tomorrow has gone crazy. Am full and have gave away 3 gigs to other dj's and turned 2 away today- some person/s letting people down at last minute :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

Next couple weeks fairly quiet but not worried due to the amount of last minute calls coming through :D

Same here.. drove all the way there (35 miles) to find it was cancelled. Third time thats happened this year! Will still be paid though, so can't complain :)
