Hey everyone,
I would just like to introduce myself to the forum as a budding mobile dj from Belfast. I've recently taken over the business from my brother and stumbled upon this forum. I have to say you all look like a friendly and helpful bunch of people and was hoping I could get some advise.
The mobile disco part of the business has been going well and I am now considering expanding into the world of Karaoke after having a few enquiries. The only problem is that I have no idea of the most cost effective way to get setup. I obviously have most of the the Audio equipment (amps, mixers, speakers etc.) but will obviously require some sort of Karaoke machine and songs to get up and running on the Karaoke side of things.
I've searched through quite a few websites and have not been having much luck on either the equipment or song side of things. I did stumble upon a site called East Midlands Karaoke that seems to offer some great starter packs. One of these starter packs was the RSQ KN2000 system that comes packaged with over 3200 songs link here (http://www.emkaraoke.co.uk/newsite/index.html?target=dept_200.html&lang=en-gb). This package seems ideal because it offers a large range of songs to get me started, then I could obviously update it with more recent releases from the Sunfly or other ranges.
Does anyone know if this package would be suitable for my requirements and if the equipment/song quality etc would be any good?
