SEDA's youngest member was at the meeting last night giving a demo of her skills and equipment. She is dj Lulu and at 12 years old has a shining future ahead of her. Obviously it runs in the family as her father is none other than mixmeister Brian Mole from Horsham who is also SEDA's webmaster.
Also at the meeting showing his rig was a young man called Stuart Bowman of Starnights Disco. We first met him as a nervous roadie/would be dj with Keith Hutchins Eclipse Disco a couple of years ago. My word what a difference a couple of years and SEDA membership makes. He is now a very confident and accomplished young man able to take his Deltec sound system anywhere and cope with any gigs thrown at him. It is good to see the young talent coming through. I started at 16 and here I am still going strong 42 years later. I know there are several young dj's on this forum too. If they are prepared to listen and learn from organizations like SEDA and this forum how to do things properly then they have a bright future and the very best of luck to them.

It's good to see the young 'uns taking an interest.

I was almost a pensioner when I started at the ripe old age of 19!

Wow...people seem to start younger than ever these days.

When reading this forum, I often think how late I started doing mobile discos compared to so many others on here...I was 21! (Although I HAD been doing hospital radio & pirate radio for about 5 years before that).

Can't be you......you were born on the Dagobah system.........:p :D

Dagobah
The Dagobah system is home to the Dagobah planet, where Jedi Master Yoda lived and trained padawan Luke Skywalker before passing away at the age of 900.
