My Kam Mics

Im pleased to anounce that the are brilliant! I have a number of people comment over this week on there feel and sound. People are saying that the comfortably fit the the had for long periods of time and are brilliant. I also had a Senhiser with me as well (borrowed required for its long distance capabilitys ie over 500m!) and people just thought that it was horrible to hold :eek: The mics in question are the Kam 1940s

Got to agree here, very good mics for the price been using them since they were first brought out without a problem, nice sounding, good feel to them and never had any probs with range so far.
Done a gig with a couple of local radio jocks and they were very impresed with them.

It is were the dip switches are for channel selection.

£130 - £140, but they don't come with a case.

Got to agree here, very good mics for the price been using them since they were first brought out without a problem, nice sounding, good feel to them and never had any probs with range so far.

I have a set and I think they are reasonable value for money (I only use them for speeches), however I do find my set drop out occasionally, especially if you move out of "line of sight" of the receiver.

I had a pair of the rackmount version and they were OK for karaoke and speeches, but I certainly wouldn't have used them to DJ with. I upgraded them to PG58s which are much better.

strange that Callum, as I've always found within PA hire people usually love the sound, build and feel of the Sennys, and as you rightly point out the range on the UHF sets is fantastic.
