Hey,

Put an order in for my ultimax and curtain attatchment! Should be here on saturday! Can't wait to get it, as i've heard great reviews on them :)

When i get it i'll sort some pictures out with the curtain :D

Isn't that the unit that got slatted on here a few days ago about the poor build quality and the thin materials?

I think you'll be seriously disappointed in the curtain. VERY thin and not very good quality. I sent mine back for a refund.

I think if my parents had bought me a Ultimax at 15...i'd be over the moon.
Wouldn't care what the cloth was like.....IMO

The ultimax is excellent, he'll have no regrets about that. Once his parent see that they've paid 50 quid extra for a black 'veil', I think they'll be questioning the purchase.

I was just curious as to why you thought his post was mean. I didn't think it was. :p :)

:agree:...but after reading the second post about quality build AND cloth.....

...would you not think....'What have I just bought?'....and be disapointed.
The stand is quality ....as Steve pointed out......

Peoples opinion are fine....it's a forum....I just thought the reply was full of negatives that's all.....:)

You'd need too. Just out of curiosity I asked them for a price list. How on earth can they justify that cost for that item?

I'm sure they're very good, but just can't get over it! :confused:

They are the only company who make such a product. The design is brilliant and the quality fantastic. The cloth fits the stand perfectly with no creases and bits hanging off, is made of wool serge and is fire proofed.

A bit like Stella Artois said..."Reassuringly expensive"

Once you have bitten he bullet and bought one, you won't want to use anything else, ever.

I've had more comments about the look of the show since I've had mine, so something has got to be good. :)

Well, thanks for the replies.

I'll see what it's like when it gets here. I needed something to hide my cables and racks, so if it does the job, i'm not too bothered. If it comes to it, over time i'll replace the material with a stronger thicker fabric.

A S&H booth is a little too expensive at the minute!

In all seriousness, you'll be able to pick up a better quality piece of fabric at half the price at any local fabric shop.

You'll have absolutely no complaints with the Ultimax though. Excellent quality!!

When I purchased my Ultimax 2 years ago the curtain they supplied was of a very good quality and nice and thick. A few months ago I lost my curtain and ordered another one from ultimax for £25. I was very unimpressed by the quality of the cloth. I also sent it back for a refund, partly because of the poor quality, but also because I later found my original curtain.

Yeah, it's £49.99 for curtain and the metal bars to hold the curtain up, £25 for the curtain on it's own.

Hi Ollie I did the same as you bought curtain with my ultimax stand a few months ago.I was a bit dissapointed in how thin it is but it does the job okay.I put a wooden broom handle in the bottom to keep it more stable as I found it can sway a bit at the bottom.
