T's and C's

I known there is a lot about on here but i would like some help.

Thanks to the website Callum maded me i am making a webiste and need T and C's when people book me. but i dont know how to word them etc etc.

if you could just say your top 5 T and C's I would be greatful.

am sure sumone on here, would send you a copy of theirs, so you can work from that, also try looking at afew dj websites to get a rough idea, to be honest the main ones are about the money upfront, the balance to be paid in full on the start of the night, any damages to equipment ect ect, they need to be fair allround and also look after you, i would also sugguest you put sumthing in their about abusive people or people dissing you, that you will pack up if anyone condones in such behaviour. cheers damian

I had a bad experience with a customer refusing my disco over t&c's so I got rid of my booking form. I was probably just unlucky but once bit twice shy.

I now just ask for £20 deposit and work from there.
£20 upfront gets rid of any false bookings.

I suggest you look at various websites (including mine!) to get an idea of the things to include.

Once you know the things you want to cover, if you want to email them to me, I'll be more than happy to re-write them for you in more formal language for your website.....as English is one of my few strong points!

I haven't got my T&Cs on the website but it's a two-page document that sets out in formal language what I expect of the client and what the client can expect of me. If the client accepts it, the document is signed and returned along with the deposit. Booking done.

I've been using the current contract for a year now and no-one has ever questioned any of the conditions or refused to sign. I think they can see that it's an agreement which works two ways by giving them some rights as well as setting out ours.
