I've just looked at the prices!!!!

£24,831.28 for the church!

Franchise Anyone?

The deal is:
LICENSE - EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS TO YOUR COUNTRY

We are looking for 50/50 partners on the operation for each country around the world, that will represent the product with total exclusivity to their country or region. The cost of said activity would be 350,000 euros (£275,903.10) which would be the total cost of 1 fully operational Pub unit and for the licensed partnership,

but marketed through the global web sites www.inflatablepub.com also www.inflatablebar.com
Please email us if you have any questions regarding this proposition.
Full Investors proposal available on request.

I looked at the link earlier on and thought "Blimey! That's expensive!" (the amounts were in Euros so they looked even more expensive!).

One thing has sprung to mind, though. Can you get married legally in one of these churches? I thought that marriages could only be performed at registered venues by registered people. Maybe you need your local bishop to pop over and perform a service of consecration?

Mind you, I be a bit worried if I'd hired the inflatable church for a wedding on a very windy day! :D

It seems that Holland like this idea more than most.

I agree with Elite DJ that it looks tacky. Why would you want to be married in an oversized bouncy castle (well....kind off) instead of the real deal. I would get married in a church any day.

Having looked a bit further and on You Tube it seems the "ceremony" is not legal because its not a permanent structure.

I assume the real wedding takes place earlier:D

Well it costs £2k to hire and I dont think its tacky--just a fun thing to dance the reception away in---theres quite a few clips on you tube and the extreme site--who knows I might be on there soon :D

Make no mistake--this is not a cheap alternative---ITS EXTREME

They also hire a virtual Night Club complete with DJ etc.--you wouldnt call that tacky would you?

I don't think anyone is going to take it seriously, including the bride and groom, so I don't think you can really call it tacky for those reasons. I think it's kind of cool.

However, on a serious note, I would question anyone planning to marry in such a manner, as to whether they are serious about taking someone's hand for life.

I dunno. Maybe they've made the day more realistic by getting Buggs Bunny to be best man and Minnie Mouse to be Chief Bridesmaid! :D :D :D

Personally, I like daft things so I'm pretty excited at all these blow-up venues. Anyone fancy lending me 350,000 euros so I can buy an inflatable pub?!? ;)

The trouble with things like this is that they aren't always reliable.

I once had something inflatable, but it got a puncture & went down on me.

Yup I once did a gig inside an inflatable castle, couldn't get my speakers to stand up even with 3 legs  made the mistake of playing some pogo dance music they came down I went up, flavored water all over my kit , kids sliding on their knees all over the place, Robs inflatable going down on him.

Just a minuet I'm dreaming, think I must be spending too much time on hear :D

I don't think I trust inflatable structures.

There was as fair or something around here a few years ago and an artist had designed and built an inflatable structure called "Dreamscape" which people could go inside. Unfortunately, it came loose from its moorings and blew in to the air causing two deaths.

Oh, here's a link to the full story:
