does anyone know or have address for glynn roebuck or winds of chsnge disco, in barnsley ? We have done several gigs for him and not been paid, and his mobile is constantly switched off. The venue have not been able to contact him either. he is advertised on this website so i suggest the mods take a look and maybe remove him. BE WARNED IF THIS GUY BOOKS YOU ON AN "INVOICE JOB" DO NOT DO IT !!!
any help gratefully appreciated.

Sorry to hear of your trouble, but with respect, we cannot take someone's details from the directory just because he owes you money.

So long as the amount is over £100 you can take him to a small claims court.

You need an address for that.

There is no way I would take a gig without a name, address and telephone number. Then a deposit ASAP and cash/cheque on the night.

The only other way I would entertain is money up front.

I have dealt with too many cowboys over the years.


When I worked for someone elses disco we did a birthday party.
We did the gig then waited to get paid but no one knew who was paying.
Gave up on the night but found the address of the birthday boy and he denied any knowledge of who was paying or who had booked it !
Once bit twice very shy......
