Theme Packages

hello how many people have theme packages available to their clients and how many times do you get booked for them, i was thinking aboutmaking up some theme packages like swinging 60s, retro ect ect, do you think this would work in this day and age, cheers damian

I have a range of theme options based on the Phil Bearman video series.

I'd say about 1 in 10 gigs is themed, and the most common themes are 70s and 80s nights (so not really themed per se).

It's great though when someone goes the whole hog and has say a casino night and you show up with the right graphics and appropriate music - it really helps make the night go with a swing.

Ive helped organise a grease themed night along with a moulane rouge theme night.I also offer golden oldies nights.

I offer SPECIALIST Wild West Events / Nights and thats very popular at present during the summer.

But its not Disco as you know it Jim :D :D :D

We did 13 Grease nights in December last year and this year we have 'disco inferno' which should be good.

id did an 80s theme night last weekend which was magic - especially as it gives you licence to play some cracking songs away from the norm you wouldnt normally get chance to play - men without hats, grandmaster flash etc.

i did a 'rock n roll' one last xmas which was fantastic to do - playing the likes of del shannon, jerry lee lewis etc - again stuff i wouldnt normally get chance too.

unfortunately there isnt the demand at the moment for more of these where i am, most people just want a general disco - if you get chance to do them, then do - youll love em!!
