Aghh cameras have me on view DJing now?

Have been doing a local pub Ibiza night for several weeks now and landlord has in process added surround sound and last week a camera to view whomever is DJing, or is singing on the Karaoke as well. Dependant on which screen he throws it upon, he has 2 plasma's so he can bung me on both or just one.

Agghh it makes me sit and think that Im on show all the night in a sense I don't mind, but in another I have to be seen doing a good night all night incase he is recording it? (for later showing) on quieter nights. Do I have any say in this situation as it a recording of me at work for starters, and where does it stand with VPL / PRS rules to music replay?

OK Im a showman at heart, but even I can look ugly at the heat of a stressy night LOL I need to know where I stand incase of legal issues, and should I asking for more money for replays of a blinding night for instance? under coprite rules do I own the footage? so many questions but not an issue I have had to confront till now. apart from at Chicago rock cafe venues which they were just live to screen issues with no possibility of recording

This is an interesting one, but I would imagine that you have no rights at all in this one... I'm pretty sure it is legal to film anyone over the age of 16 without their prior consent - or is it?

There is also a comparison to made to CCTV - no-one can object to being filmed by security cameras whilst on someone else's premises.

If you believe in signing paperwork then would you go into your Asda store and ask them if they have any paperwork to sign or not to film you because you look ugly today?

The club i Dj at has a camera at the back of the dj booth and the Lighting engingeer will flick it over and bring me up on the screen dj'in for around 30 seconds at a time, i find it looks good.

I wonder if the venue owner has a Produb licence?...unless, of course, they are only replaying the badger footage without sound. I'm not sure where Badger stands in that case, I still don't think consent is needed though.

Apparently its fine if they are known to have TB which I think we have a good case here as this Badger is (Totally Bonkers)
