Play loads of cheese and dance music as well as the track with dance moves that everyone knows as well as the sing-a-long tracks.

Good Luck.

I used to DJ at a few under 18s clubs and found that the RnB route is a great option for the 13 - 17 year olds, younger than that maybe grab the High School Musical CD.

EEk! Whatever you play for the young ones , the older ones will moan, and vice versa! Good luck, I think you may need it!

Very true. However until you get there and see what they are like it will be hard to pre plan. Some kids like all the cheesy stuf whereas others will think itis uncool and prefer club music. Whenever I do anything (especially under 21's) I always ask what sort of music they like as each party can differ widely and play the wrong music at your peril

I would suggest that you break it up a little - ie start out at 5.00pm playing for the younger ones; a middle section for the mid-range age; and the latter part of the evening for the older ones (and make it clear that is what you are doing).

You may want to consider including some games for the younger ones too.

would be very suprised by the age range and the times of the booking you posted if it was not a split show i.e they have the 6-11 year olds 5-7 then the 12-18 year olds 7-10 i have done a few like that and it does make it a lot easier. However if not load the smoke machine with CS gas grab a crash helmet and bulletproof vest and hope for the best lol.

I rang the lady who booked me just to confirm date time etc, its for the academy of preforming arts in Midhurst , so apart from the good advise that I have obtained here, they also want musicals etc.
High school musical 1,2 , Mama mia etc, .
Also want loads of lights and plenty of fog ( yes I did ask about a smoke alarm)
Should be a good afternoon/night.

Cheers
