A deadly combination, I think you'll agree. ;)
Right, are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin. My mate bought this
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=220602&C=Maplin&U=SearchTop&T=ion&doy=14m8 from Maplins. You install EZ Mixmeister ( yes honestly! ) and itunes. Plug in the usb lead, and it converts it to mp3, and loads it into itunes. You can monitor it as it does so, you can hear it in itunes immediately after its been loaded there, but as soon as you stop, it seems to alter the sound card in use from the internal one in the PC/ Lappy to the USB codec presumably in the player. :bang: Compared to Media Monkey, itunes seems a pile of poo! I'm finding out how to work round these problems, but it is driving me crazy. I'm tempted to see if I can do it more easily by feeding an analog signal into my Soundblaster and converting it this way. Thoughts please anyone, before I lose it totally.
