PCDJ Dac3 Controller

Hi all thinking about getting a PCDj dac3 Controller and wanted to know if i need to buy a sound card with it as it says about midi capability etc?

So does the controller itself have an output that goes straight to the mixer?

Or do i need say a gigport to split the audio from laptop

You'll need a sound card.

Or buy the Denon HC4500 which has built in soundcards - the difference in price is probably about the same as the cost of a decent soundcard anyway.
