They are not too bad at all. On par with a 100 watt normal fixture, they certainly throw the light around the room, but its only sound-to-light.

Personally I'd save an extra £20 and go for an Acme MiracLED, its really bright, DMX'able, controllable (via a CA 8), and will fill a room more.

Other options I'd look at is the Equinox Cobalt and the Acme InvincibLED, both are impressive and can be controlled & dmx'd too.

Or the American DJ Revo Roll, an LED Barrel Scanner. I have one and love it. It will have a friend in the foreseable future. ;)

Hi CJ
Personally I would go for an acme impossibled, I was toying with either the american dj mystic led or the impossibled and plumped for the impossibled . Its an extra twenty or thirty quid more but , in my opinion , the beams are sharper and it produces a great centrepiece fixture. However the mystic led is still a bargain at £99 .

I would recommend the American DJ Mystic LED too. I have been using it for the past week and have had some great comments. It is bright, fills the dancefloor and looks pretty awesome with haze. As said above, it is only £99.00 and is really good for the price. Only downside is that the poor thing is a bit of an ugly mug.

I always forget about this, as its one we don't sell.
This is really good for a centre piece too, its just really ugly in the daylight!

When I used it last week, I walked in with it out of the box as I don't have a case for it at the moment. Someone commented that it looked like a spaceship! I said "Wait until you see it working". It looked really cool.

would any of you touch this?

beacuse i would use them 4 across the rig and have a moving head at each end. and have one center light?

and i might be able to chage the gobo wheel.

Well it all depends if you want to go down the LED effect route or if you want to add scanners to your setup.

To quote simon from DFB:
"Some of the Zoom units were fitted with incorrect fuses, and it sounds as though this needs replacing. The fuse is in the combined fuse/power connector on the unit, and should be a 20mm glass fuse approx 5A or 6.3A antisurge"
