50th birthday.....

I am still on such a high after lastnights gig.......i had such an amazing time which compensates for the previous 2 gigs i had which have been rubbish......

I had a full dance floor most of the night.....really nice crowd of people. Even ended up in th Loch Lomond(Runrig) circle at the end of the night.....was told they had a great night and was given a tip (dmckaraoke didnt get one from his gig hahahaha)......They were all just up for a great time and having a good laugh. There was a cheese sculpture aswell.......

I love nights like this...boosts your confidence and makes it all worth while.......

Sometimes it doesnt matter what the DJ does they wont dance.

And other times its a great corwd and they are there to sing and dance.

Experienced both ! but the good times make up for the bad times.

Strangely I had 2 gigs--cant ever remember working on a Bank Holiday.:confused:

I think the credit crunch and the rubbish weather is changing work patterns
in the business--having an outdoor event in the Summer will become a very high risk because of wetter summers--well it feels like it!

We are becoming very choosy about booking them now, Marquees are the way but of course are very expensive.

Unless the client has a proper back up plan for bad weather or good waterproof covering we wont go there---literally.

My most stupid conversation of last year was with a Bride to be--complete airhead--

Right so you want dancing outside on the lawn of the Hotel---what happens if it rains--errr its in the Summer so it probably wont rain--:bang: :bang:

Yeah right--so it was suggested when it starts rainiing we all move inside--

Very funny.....they pictures were all taken round about the same time......I was in deep consentration at the time and i get embarrassed when the cameras on me.....

A bit of hijackin here... the White table skirt sometimes I light it up with some par cans and it looks awesome...think the reason it was no set up that night was I must have been using them in the other venue.

From under the table..of course
