Funnily enough, I've had a couple of requests for Enter Sandman recently, including on Saturday night.

On both occasions, I told the person I though the song was too heavy to play at a family wedding...and neither of them argued the fact.

Just caught it, thanks KMA. They haven't done much at all for the last ten years as they have either been in the bottom of a bottle or in rehab.

So, from that show, it seems that Metallica aren't completely up their own arses any more (St. Anger / Some Kind of Monster). But their heads seem to be. :eek:

Must find this new track - it appears to have gone in at No. 19 in the UK singles chart... but reports of the album are that, so far, it is pretty underwhelming and badly produced compared to their vintage stuff. :(
