Hi All,

We've been doing well the last few weeks with our 2 banks of 4 LED Pars and pair of Impossibleds...however, last week, we noticed one of the Impossibleds wasn't functioning correctly, some LEDs were out and it wasn't following patterns, the controller was redundant! Fortunately, our shop is also (one of ) our agents, so we got a shop warranty and have a replacement whilst ours is getting fixed/replaced...he's also our agent so its in his interest to sort it for us...

It highlighted a bit of a gap in our light show....the Pars are good for standard lighting, they give a good colour wash and can be fairly dynamic...the ImpossibLEDs are used when the floor is rocking, what we're looking for now is another light to add to this set up...Budgetwise, we're proabably looking at £200 max...and our market is probably more standard type affairs (not a large amount of 18ths) therefore, it doesn't need to be retina-seeringly dynamic...

Your ever helpful thoughts are appreciated...:beer1:

Do you not think you have enough lighting as it is?

I know what you are saying, its more a case of having a 3rd option...like I say, we don't use all of the lights, all of the time...therefore, if, like we have been for a gig or two, down to 1 impossibled...we're a little shy on the lighting side I feel.
Its about being adaptable with our lights. At the moment we have 2 options...Pars on, No Imposs or Pars on Imposs on.
We do have a projector which we've not used in a while, maybe I'll test that this weekend...

Have you ever thought of the KAM cluster. I know its a laser but i can see it working quite well with your setup as a center piece.

Hmm...The old man was in the Disco shop today, and he's spotted Acme Jaguars...I've had a quick research and noted they are discontinued and I'm not sure if they are right...I guess the newer equivalents would be something like the dynarock type light?

Just because they are now discontinued doesnt mean they wont be good enough. As you say they dont need to be so dynamic so if they are a good price then maybe thats all you need.
