Well I have just returned from a wet Birmingham where the wife and I went to see the legend that is Stevie Wonder in the NIA on Monday.

The show started 35 mins late which didn’t please the crowd too much as they started to slow hand clap which wasn’t good.
Stevie finally came on to the stage to a massive cheer and was accompanied by his daughter who was also one of his backing singers. The first hour or so was a bit slow to get going as he was promoting lots of new material, but once he realised that the crowd wanted to hear some of his old classics the show was superb.
The sound and lighting effects were awesome, I did try to record some footage on my phone but as the rack of speakers were pointing in our direction the sound on my phone became to distorted to hear anything.

Overall if you get a chance to see him whilst he is over in the UK do it, the guy is fantastic.

The only addition he added to his mic was a pipe (Cant remember what there called) which made his voice hi pitched, and he sang a song with it in his mouth.

No, no supporting act, although he did play for nearly 3 hours solid.

I think he did just over 2 hrs when i saw him. Mind you, took them that long getting all the singers and band on the stage......the amount of gear he had.....:D
