Hi everyone

I currently have a small and basic website for my business which i build a number of years ago, it does exactly what it says on the tin but it needs updated!

I am thinking of updating and re decorating the site with pictures, buttons etc..

My site is www.kdentertainments.com

Suggestions and/or Constructive critisim would be helpful!

Thanks

Keith

Hya Keith I don't see too much of an issue with your site, its simple and am sure effective.
At least a couple of areas I did notice after a quick nosy was you could do with an email form (looks more professional) even the email you have isnt a mailto link but just text, I would sort that bit.
The other point is your logo (name) looks a bit cheap the way its done, you want the name to be clearly visible and preferable with a link back to the index page.
I only had a quick look and that's what sort of jumped out at me :)

Agreed.

There was nothing else which jumped out at me...not a bad site.

What award did you win? Just curious...

Nice site by the way, the only mistake I spotted was a rouge apostrophe in "Photos".

I'd take the Christmas Booking picture off your site or change it!

As others have said, have a contact form.

Lose the white text on the light background at the bottom, it's hard to read ;) That kind of thing will get you blacklisted from search engines!

There are loads of gallery scripts available, all relatively easy to use and integrate, so I'd use one of those instead of going to your Bebo for photos (personally I think Bebo, Myspace, Facebook etc. (or links to them) are very unprofessional for a business website).

Thanks for the comments folks.

After a few hours of fiddling about with photoshop, i changed the logo. The reason that i didn't use a speaker logo, is because i also provide fun casinos. (Thanks anyway Karl!)

Bebo site is only makeshift. Does anyone have any sites that teach you how to:

A. insert contact forms
B. insert photo galleries.

Helps is much appreciated!:)

I've just noticed something else.

On the disco page, you have text which says your disco is is PAT tested for peace of mind and to keep everything legal.

However, as far as I know PAT testing is NOT a legal requirement.

On other words, a mobile disco with PAT tested equipment is no more legal than one WITHOUT PAT tested gear.

PAT in itself isn't, but the phrase itself could be true as electrical equipment does need to be safety tested and PAT is one way of doing it.

Fair enough. I guess it depends on how you interpret it.

I probably wouldn't expect to see the phrase "to keep everything legal" on a professional website, though.
