Help making photos lighter

I have taken some photo's from a disco i did but they are really kinda dark

is there anyway i can brighten them up..

i have no idea how to work photo shop is there a simple software

Have vista? Then just open it up in the photo viewer and up the brightness. Mac? Iphoto and edit in there. XP? Havent a clue :D

Hi there,

Picasa is what I use, and you should find it with a quick Google.

As far as I know it's free...and it's very easy to use, especially to lighten photos.

Most of the photos on my website were lightened using Picasa, and some were virtually black before I gave them the treatment!

I'll put them through Paint/Print Shop Pro if you want, post them here & I'll re-post them when the're done. I can sharpen, enhance and finish them too :)

Lost connection before I could reply. Ulead Photo impact. No idea where I got it, but it's easy, cos even I can use it to lighten and resize. :D :D
