Great video!

I love the way he says he's not sure about the price.

It's Skytec, so my guess would be about £2.50.

I wasn't being funny about the fact it's an Asian accent - I can honestly detect a regional accent, but can't decide which one.

I did think Geordie at first but he does appear to kick in with slight Scottish at times, either way you gotta give the lad credit for having a go.

I've always understood accent to mean the way you pronounce things, whereas dialect is having different words only known in the area?

(and wikipedia agrees with me :) )

Yes it bloody does! Just because the bulk of the Home Counties have absorbed the London accent rather than use their own regional twang does not mean london doesn't have an accent. You have a London accent (You shouldn't, but you do).

There are even regional variations depending on which side of the Thames you come from.

There's a documentary currently running that explores many facets of both the C(o)ckney Dialect and the London Accent(or accents, as there are indeed subtle variations even within the capital)Its called.....

EASTENDERS!

Are you a C(o)ckernee?

Steve...you're spot on!

If London didn't have an accent, I would never have heard the phrase "He had a London accent"...but it's something I've heard many times!

You sound like a Londoner, ergo you have a London accent
