First friday night off since...well, I can't even remember but it's got to be at least a year and I can't take it anymore!!!!

Friday night TV is bad so.....I'm going to the pub!!!!!!!!

What's the betting that I have a hangover tomorrow when I'm working... but at least....I'll be back down the pub (it's my stint at my local tomorrow night).

Have a good one whatever you are doing guys!

Crippled my back last sunday so have been sitting watching tv all week. Hobbling around on walking sticks so have had to get cover for my gigs this weekend. Not sure how long will be unable to do discos but hope not for long, its driving me nuts.

Well, I've taken my son to two lots of footy training sessions and trials today and am going to settle down for a beer or two shortly. I have the weekend off (sort of) - football at 10am tomorrow morning, then home for 12, quick shower and change, then off to the Mad Stad for Reading Vs Burnley.

On Sunday we have a wedding fayre, so need to be up at 8am....so much for my weekend off. Doing led lighting and putting a PA in for the fashion show as well as a full set up in another room. (Hotel want me to put a full show in as they are putting a dance floor down)

I suppose compared to being a successful DJ / Entertainer and the buzz you get with it--watching TV doesnt compare.

Agreed its a better selection than some nights!

PP - sorry to hear about your back mate (You haven't just taken on 18 gigs aswell have you - cue Nigel!).

Darren - None of them really interest me mate. However, a nice beer with some mates does...so, I'm outta here!

Hi Gary,

First five, yes. Harry and Paul is way below what they're capable of. I've come in late, and shoved on a DVD of Don Henley. Now that's quality. :D

Djing can be very addictive.
The adrenalin rush when your on stage performing.

I tend to get a bit itchy for a night DJing if I dont do it for a week or two.

I've had a mad week. Chris (PPEntertainments) kindly offered me a gig for tonight but I had to turn it down as the day job normally finishes late on a Friday. However, my manager put me in for training today which finished at ... 1pm! D'oh! Money lost! (Sorry Chris. If I'm not booked next time you ring I'll make sure I sort it to cover for you!)

And to top it all off my gig for tomorrow was messed-up so I've nothing on all weekend now! And I'm down to my last few quid til I get some cash on Thursday. Typical! :(

Technically yes, although it's actually the full version of the show that went out earlier in the week (the 1/2 hour live broadcast with 1/2 hour unseen footage added)

There was a great tacky horror on BBC2 at 2am Karloff & Lee together (& that bloke that got run over by the tram on Corrie when he was trying to kill Rita)

Friday nights off... I don't think so, I would rather be out working or in town than watching Friday night tv with a takeaway :D
