Hi people

Did a 5oth party last night in a pub function room
The room was was quite small and there was meant to be only 40 - 50 people coming, but in the end there was about 100 people, and there was not very much room to dance, i thought oh this is going to be interesting.
But it turned out to be a great night, got asked for 5 cards from guests, and one from the land lady.
Anyway, one of the women there kept asking for requests, about 15 - 20 of them.
Near the end of the night she said " WILL YOU STILL BE GOING IN 4 YEARS TIME", and i said " what, alive you mean":eek:
She wanted me to do her 40th in 4 years time.:eek:

You should have said yes & taken a deposit!

I guess some people have no idea when they'll pack up, but I could have answered their question with a yes, as I plan to retire when I'm 50, which is 5 years away. If anything, it might be a bit later than that, but certainly not any earlier...short of any unforseen diasters, of course.

I'll still be going in 4 years time. By that time everyone in my area will have realised that they won't be able to provide the quality that I have been giving and want to work for me.

That's the plan anyway, whether it works or not is another thing but it's good to have goals isn't it!

I don't know - I may not even be alive in that time. Nothing is that certain in this world. Whether or not I'll still be in the disco business is also an uncertainty, although I'd like to think I will be, but who knows what will change to affect the profitability of the business? I can't see the expenses reducing.

Exactly my cunning plan also, my friend. :D Since I've just spent a sum of money that may take twenty years to recoup, my retirement no longer looks imminent. ;) :D :D
