hi when i first joined the forum i was asking about the homemix dj system from Argos and how good is it and some people dident like it when i come home from work my dad had gone out and he came back about 8.00 and he had bought me the homemix dj deck from Argos as a surprise and i have tested it out and we have put our big speakers what we have in the lounge through it and when we turned it up to full it made the widows shake and theirs a out put to a amp so i am going to get a amp and we have borrowed some big dj speakers from my dads mate and i am doing my first popper dj gig on the 31st of October and i would recommend the the home mix deck for a fist time dj just for starting out like i am

Practice and practice and practice.
Learn your music.
Work on your presentation.
You will not get it right first time or tenth time but each experience will help you refine the way you work.
Good luck with your first gigs - enjoy them!

Can i just say when i first started as a bedroom DJ i started with the homemix system and it worked a treat for about a year but when i was preparing to go out on the road i was forced to upgrade (I'm glad i did now) as both CD decks started jumping. I found out this was due to the plastic CD deck not laying onto the player well enough resulting in it jumping every few seconds.
Another problem is if you push the internal amp to much it creates long term damage with it clipping even at low level.
Just thought i would say. hope you don't get this.
Good Luck.
