we have a dummy camera and a real one (not fitted yet ) due to damage to our car on the drive , kids at my lads school have been bragging that they pick apples from a garden down the street and throw them at cars down our road . and we have had several things go missing from the garden.

when i can im getting vandal grease for the top of the fence too

Please make sure that you post threads in the correct forum.

As this doesn't relate to Mobile Discos (unless anyone sets up a CCTV system with their rig each gig), I'm moving it to the Lounge

No.... I don't work in venues where this is needed!

Clarify - while working, or at home? Neither for me anyway, nothing has happened around my immediate area for years, so until something does happen I won't bother.

Talking about cameras in the venue, the landlord of a pub I used to have a residency in years ago installed a camera in the lounge pointing at the dancefloor/karaoke singer so everyone in the main bar could see what was happening on the big screen there, as well as hear it. The other advantage of course, is that the staff can monitor the lounge for any trouble more easily.

If it's a home then we have our own security alarm but out on the road then I just call 999 if anything does happen.

I have CCTV at home aimed towards the vehicles. Mainly to deter vandals.

Eh??? Surely most hotels have CCTV cameras in them!

Yeah but what I meant was I work in upmarket venues where I don't worry about my personal safety. If I had to go to the extremes of security cameras while I was dj'in I would question myself why I am working there.

That's because you seem to struggle with articulating a post in good old fashioned English, Damian, particularly when you post towards the end of the day.

I doubt I'm the one one who finds it irritating to have to interpret your "rite it dan like ow it sounds innit" posts.
