Just turn up and do your best disco and maybe find out what are her favourite tracks and do a couple of dedications from you to her :)

yes mate, its off the internet at the moment, over hauling it basicly at the moment, as well as getting new pictures for it, ect

I take it this is a girlfriend/potential girlfriend ??
If so take into consideration she may prefer you NOT to dj. Not critisising your skills, but she may prefer to spend the evening with you as a guest and not working.

When I first started dj'ing I got quite offended when a close friend hired another disco for his wedding - later I realised that he wnted me to enjoy and be involved with his day without having to work.

Forget all the lights and stuff she will not really notice (although led uplighting would be a nice touch).

if there is one thing i know about women pay her load of attention and surprise her with something really thoughtful.

find out all of her favorite songs and make a big fuss of her over the night. even better get her a cake and ask people to sing happy birthday (or grime it whatever you do these days).

She will love it !!!

Perfect!! Just a case of keeping it secret. not an easy thing.

Only asking about the grime thing as the 16th i did at a leisure centre Sat and it was full of white - jamacan speaking - londoner - wannabe gangsters??

Considering i was in southampton and they were all local lads i found that very strange.

The best part is they all have gloves and hats on and they called me "blad" all the time. Considering i was baking my ass off in a shirt seems a bit stupid to me?

Not normally my sort of gig but i did a good job though and the girls loved it too. Just a case of ridiculing the leader on the mic and playing loads of grime/r&b/bassline etc.

This is a sign that im getting old now!!

I think you should just organise a punchy party to send her 16th off with a bang, hire some confetti canons maybe for cutting the cake and hire a friend *cough* me to do the disco and you can help but then also talk to jade and socialise and not have to worry about music timings, beat matching etc :).

Ive though about it and thinking of hireing sheerness east, with mine and robs set ups (if thats ok rob) and ill do a dedication set to her.
