Looking for a little bit of advice, I've started designing a new site, as I never really managed to finish my old one and decided in the process it didn't stand out enough and looked like I was aiming for a young market. Therefore have started redesigning for a new one. Will be adding footer to the site, + some boxes to the right. Not sure what to have, thinking get a quote button, feedback and possibly a little term link box? Any ideas, please :)

Current site: mixupdisco.com

Please read the rules:

Do not reply to your own post within a short time complaining that no-one has replied. Please remember that it may take some time for a member who can help you with your question / problem to visit the forums.

Although not a complaint as such - same principle! Looks ok to me but please remove the latin text as this may contain content that my 1st form Latin cannot translate, and again contravenes rules re posting in English.

yeah looks alright, maybe a fully working site with english wording would be better ?

:offtopic: & not very original Damian.

Looks OK as a home page.

soundtracker. Will do next time.. Appologies. (the latin is actually randomly generated from the internet, just to see what it would look like)

Thanks damian, will convert it to a full working site, though have just designed it on photoshop so its just a picture for now. Any suggestions to improving it?

Thanks steve, though what would you do to improve it? Really needs to have a professional image. Does it still look too young?

I see what you're saying, yes it does look a bit young & trendy.

The sort of site I'd expect a dance turntableist specialist type DJ to have.

Looks ok to me.
My website is very very basic to be honest and just there to get people to call me. I do it myself (as I am sure you can tell).

Thanks for that, do you think I need to tame it down a little. Or try all over for a more professional image?

You may have trouble with all those images - different browsers may render the relative positions differently, messing up the layout.

Maybe go for something more basic? Information is key, not how pretty it looks. (In my opinion.)
