Expanding your entertainments business...

Hi Everyone

I have been running my mobile disco business since 2003. I started it up as a small concern doing a few pubs etc..

I now have expanded to a wedding and corporate entertainments service to include fun casino, disco roadshow and Karaoke nights, I am booked up every weekend and i always get good feedback from clients.

I have always run my entertainments business as a part time concern alongside my job, but i have been made redundant recently. So instead of looking for another job, I am now going to go full time with my business.

I am thinking about taking on another dj but i dont know where to start!

I have got the time, money and motivation but i dont know how to sub contract the work out, back up dj's or how PLI works for 2 rigs. I have built up a good name for myself and i dont want another dj wrecking my reputation.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

We done exactly the same me and my brother. We have 4 Full time DJ's who use our Kit and Vans and on our Insurances etc then sub the rest out to approved DJ only.
Be careful mind as you need to vet the DJs to make sure they live upto you name. If you want a chat just email me at [email protected] and I will try to advise you mate.......Just remember when your big who helped you mind Lol
