Hi,

i have the SSN-1 (http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=220632) from Maplin the only problem i have with it is that when its on my giraffe stand i can seem to get facing up to the end of the hall sort of thing it seems to point down and cant get it up much.

Last friday i put it on the pole thats vertical of the T-Bar and it went all over the hall as it was straight, if you need any ill get some pics in a mo.

anything i can buy to sort it out as its the bracket that dont move much.

Thanks.

G clamp will work. Attach it to the effect, Then simply hang it over your stand and tighten up the bolt to hold the clamp in place.

Job Done. And they even sell them in maplins:sofa:

I am assuming it is the angle of the light which is the problem which a clamp on a square tube is not going to change.

As the picture doesnt show all is there a bolt on the other side of that nut or whatever its called, cant remember. But even with it the other way up the bracket is still in the same posistion as i would have without the clamp or am i thinking this out wrong?

I know this problem with maplin lights. Easily fixed if you use tri truss but if you use bi-truss it can be a problem. Best way with bi truss s to use a g clamp on upper pole of bi-truss and rest the effect on the lower pole to steady it. Or use a locking G-clamp. They grip the tubing very firmly and can lock an effect any position you choose .Thomman sell them for about £1.50 each and I use them with no problems.

Looking at that picture posted on page 1 of this thread is how will the light stay tp straight at the screw bit only goes through the hole of the bracket?
