Hi CJ
This should work with any DMX 512 lighting including scanners.
However......The Soundlab controllers are wired opposite +/= signal to most other manufacturers, as are their lights such as the Colourscan.
This one has a polarity select switch #17 on the Manual http://www.djsoundkit.co.uk/PDF/G018WC.pdf so you may have to put it the other position to get it to work with other Lights
Use the dipswitches on the lights to set the start DMX channel of each bank to correspond with the control channels for that bank

If the dipwitches are the same as for the Dynamo, you need to turn #10 to ON, on one of the units only, to enable 'inversion' (Working the opposite way round to the other).
I know Daz (Solitaire) is quite a fan of Acme so he may well know more ;)
