Amplifier gone walkies

Just realised i'm missing an amplifier from stock, and Ecler APA1000, in a 2u plastic rack. I was the amp I took out for backup and i'm pretty sure it was taken from a venue in the Wolverhampton area (which happens to be a lovely hotel, not somewhere you would think theives would operate) whilst loading out. If anyone comes across one for sale, please let me know.

Let this be a reminder to everyone, you can't be too careful when loading / unloading.

What a good point , how many of us have the serial numbers of our equipment listed ?

I have all my equipment serial numbers recorded as they're all down on my insurance policy inventory.

I think it's important to keep records of your equipment - not least because it makes it easier to get help from the manufacturer when you have details of model numbers, makes, serial numbers, year of purchase, etc.

If anyone hasn't got such records, I would suggest spending a bit time recording each item of equipment with details such as make, model, serial number, date/year of purchase and purchase price. Creating a simple spreadsheet will be adequate for the job. You never know when you'll need to look up this information.

Normally serial numbers are recorded on your PAT certificate.

and you also my find, insurance companys will not insure equipment, unless it has a serial number.
