I've gone from nothing for three months to three bookings in a week.
Isn't it strange how things go.

It certainly is! Last week I had eleven enquiries, this week only two!

Last week December was looking a bit pants, this week it's better every Friday & Saturday now fully booked.
Now if I can only get conformation on the mid week bookings I'll be happy.

Al of mine are confirmed. Just need to get the purchase order numbers out of them now, so I can start invoicing.

We have had provisional dates for a-g-e-s, just found it like extracting teeth to get the hotels to confirm the dates this year.... still, we're getting there ;)

With the amount I'm currently spending on my flat, the fact that I have no bookings whatsoever in January or February is a little concerning!

You can use some of the money that you've earned that is over the amount that you need to live on then. :sj:

Blimey... must be some renovation Rob if your six-figure earnings can't cover it  :D

Funnily enough, Vectis, that's not a million miles away from the truth.
It's not a six figure sum I'm spending on doing up my flat, but it's closer than you think!

I just noticed HBOS ( Halifax) have cancelled their major Xmas event in Birmingham and any local functions involving more than 20 staff:eek:
I assume thats all of them.
Welcome to the credit crunch.
I also see the Government may hand money out to the very people who WONT be booking the sort of Discos provided mainly on here ( far as I know)
We have taken a couple of bookings this week but generally it looks pretty slow for next year in our market.
Ah well--lets hope something turns up:D
